ST ANN, Jamaica — The body of a man was discovered Tuesday night in the Epworth district, tied up and with his mouth taped, sending shock through the normally quiet community.
The grisly find was made beside a water tank that serves local residents. Police reported that there was no blood at the scene. Investigators were called in to process the area as they work to determine the circumstances surrounding the death.
Sources say the man had lived overseas and had recently returned to Jamaica, residing alone in the Epworth area.
The shocking incident has left residents uneasy as authorities continue to probe and search for leads.
