Man Fatally Shot by Police: The Independent Commission of Investigation (INDECOM) has commenced a probe into the fatal shooting of a man who allegedly engaged the police in a shootout along Mandela Terrace on Sunday night.
The identity of the deceased has not yet been released by the police.
Reports indicate that a team of officers was on an operation along Mandela Terrace when they were fired upon by armed men.
The police stated that they returned fire, and during the exchange of gunfire, one man was shot and killed.
An illegal firearm was also taken from him.
