One 9mm Browning pistol, with a magazine containing eight 9mm cartridges was seized at the home of 21-year-old Deno Kongal of Ricketts River in Frome, Westmoreland on Monday, July 18.
He was subsequently charged with Illegal Possession of Firearm and Ammunition.
Reports from the Savanna-la-Mar Police are that about 9:30 a.m., a team of officers conducted a snap raid at Kongal’s home. The firearm was found wrapped in a pair of jeans.
His court date is being finalised.
