Man Brutally Murdered in Bog Walk Home

Bog Walk, St. Catherine – A 50-year-old labourer, Orville Williams, was found brutally murdered at his home in Swamp Lane, Bog Walk, on Thursday night.

According to the Bog Walk police, a relative of the deceased visited Williams’ residence around 8:45 p.m. and made the gruesome discovery. The house was found ransacked, and Williams’ lifeless body was discovered inside.

Upon arrival at the scene, law enforcement officers found Williams seated on his bed with his feet bound. He had sustained visible bruises to his head and upper body and was bleeding profusely from the head and nose, indicating a violent attack.

Williams was transported to the Linstead Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The Linstead Criminal Investigations Branch (CIB) has launched an investigation into the homicide. Detectives are working diligently to determine a motive and identify any suspects involved in the crime.

The Swamp Lane community is in a state of shock following this brutal murder. Residents are urged to cooperate with the police and provide any information that may assist in the investigation.
