One man was taken into custody, in connection with the seizure of an illegal firearm and several rounds of ammunition, in Kingston 6, on Friday, April 5.
The identity of the accused is being withheld pending further investigations.
Reports by the Matildas Corner police are that about 11:30 p.m., on Friday, a team of officers were on patrol in the area, when they observe a man running towards a house.
The man was accosted, and a search of his person led to the seizure of a 9mm Beretta semi-automatic pistol, fitted with a magazine containing ten live 9mm rounds.
