The Hanover police are investigating the shooting death of a man in Knockalva district, Ramble, Hanover, on Saturday.
The deceased has been identified as Courtney Mchayle, otherwise called ‘Mackerel,’ of Galloway district, Bethel Town, Westmoreland.
Reports indicate that around 9:40 am, residents of Knockalva district alerted the police after hearing gunshots in the area.
The lawmen arrived at the scene and found Mchayle lying in a pool of blood on a dirt road, with multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body.
The scene was processed, and the body was removed to the morgue for a post-mortem examination.
