Lindon Campbell Shot to Death at a Westmoreland Party

One man was shot and killed by gunmen while at a party being held in his community, in Westmoreland, on Thursday night, September 26.

He has been identified as 25-year-old Lindon Campbell, Welder of New Hope district, also in the parish.

Reports by the Savanna la mar police are that about 9:30 p.m., on Thursday, Campbell was among a group of patrons at a party, when a group of men drove up in a motor vehicle.

The men brandished handguns and open fire hitting Campbell multiple times before speeding away from the scene.

The police were summoned, and upon arrival, Campbell was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
