Man Shot Dead In Lilliput

St. James, Jamaica (McKoy’s News)- Man Shot Dead In Lilliput: One man was shot and killed in the Long Bay area of Lilliput, in the parish of St. James on Saturday morning.

He has been identified as Richard Campbell, otherwise called Ray, laborer of a Long Bay address in Lilliput.

Reports are that about 6:15 am on Saturday, residents alerted the police, after several gunshots were heard coming from a section of the Long Bay area.

Upon arrival of the police, Campbell was discovered lying along the roadway in a pool of blood with multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body. The scene was processed, and the victim was transported to the Cornwall Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
