Lightening Bolt Strikes Supreme Court House

Jamaica News: Proceeding at the Supreme Court in downtown Kingston were adjourned prematurely on Wednesday, September 25, after a lightning bolt struck an air-conditioning unit on the roof of the building, resulting in a fire.
The cases were set to different dates after the fire forced an evacuation of persons from within the courthouse building.

Reports are that a lightening bolt struck the ac-unit, and a fire started on the roof of the building. The fire department was called to the location, but before they arrived, a maintenance team at the courthouse managed to put out the blaze.
The firefighters made an assessment of the building and the damages and reported that the fire was minor and resulted in minor damages.
