Jamaica Crime News, St Catherine: One man was shot and killed by a group of armed men while standing outside his house at a section of the Portmore Policing area known as Mexico in St Catherine on Monday night, June 4, 2018.
The deceased has been identified as Anthony Murray, otherwise called “One” 49-year-old laborer of Mexico in Gregory Park, St Catherine.
Reports by the Portmore Police are that about 11:00 p.m. on Monday, Murray was standing outside his home in Mexico when he was ambushed and shot to death by unknown assailants.
The armed men made their escape in the area on foot while residents alerted the police. Upon arrival of the lawmen, Murray was discovered lying outside his home in a pool of blood with multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body.
Murray was transported to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
