Laborer Killed by Electrocution in Whithorn, Westmoreland

A man was killed after being electrocuted in Westmoreland on Tuesday, police have reported.

The victim has been identified as 24-year-old Tajay Williams, a laborer from Thompson Lane, Whithorn.

According to reports, around 2:30 p.m., Tajay Williams was on a premises in Whithorn when he touched a piece of zinc that had become entangled with live electrical wires. He was electrocuted and died as a result.

The Whithorn police are currently investigating the matter to determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
