Kingston Pastor Convicted of Rape of 13-Year-Old Girl

Kingston, Jamaica (McN) – Last Tuesday Kingston pastor Paul Hanniford who appeared before Home Circuit Court Judge Justice Lorna Williams was convicted for allegedly having sex with a 13-year-old-girl in 2015.

Pastor of the Pentecostal City Mission Church in Kingston, Paul Hanniford was convicted in the Home Circuit Court   on Tuesday for allegations of carnal abuse of a 13-year-old girl.

The court heard testimonies from the now 15-year-old girl, and her younger brother.

Testimonies in the court are that Pastor Hanniford, plot was to take the children for a ride-out, but instead took the boy and his sister to where he lived.

Allegedly, the Kingston pastor gave the boy Cornflakes to eat in the living room, while he took the girl to his bedroom, where he sexually assaulted her.

The boy, 5-years-old then heard his sister screaming, rushed into the room and saw Hanniford having sex with his sister.

“Pastor” Hanniford later took the girl and her brother back to church to their mother.

Hanniford tried to prevent the boy from telling his mother what he witnessed but, the boy blurted out to his mother what took place.

Kingston pastor Paul Hanniford was remanded in police custody today for sentencing on February 24
