The Kingston Eastern Police have seized a quantity of ammunition and ganja during an operation conducted in the St. Benedicts Heights community in Harbour View. The pre-dawn operation was carried out by officers from the Kingston Eastern Division as part of ongoing efforts to curb illegal activities in the area.
Reports indicate that law enforcement personnel searched a section of the St. Benedicts community, where they discovered approximately one and a half pounds of ganja along with five 9mm cartridges. The illicit items were seized by the authorities.
Despite the discovery, no arrests were made in connection with the seizure. Police have not disclosed whether any suspects are being pursued but have confirmed that investigations are ongoing.
Residents are being urged to provide any relevant information that could assist in identifying those responsible for the contraband. The police continue to maintain a presence in the area as part of their crime-fighting initiatives.
