KINGSTON, Jamaica – David Ramgeet, 26, of Highland Drive, Kingston 19, has been charged with larceny of a motor vehicle and conspiracy to commit larceny following a theft on Fairview Boulevard, Fairview, Spanish Town, St. Catherine.
Police reports state that between 2:30 a.m. and 6:10 a.m. on Wednesday, August 13, Ramgeet and other suspects allegedly stole a 2016 Toyota Probox valued at $1.2 million.
The matter was reported to authorities, and an investigation was launched. On Sunday, August 31, surveillance footage from Jamaica Eye allegedly showed Ramgeet using his own vehicle to pilot the stolen car.
The police investigation is ongoing as further evidence is gathered.
