Dwayne Walcott, a 42-year-old vendor from Castle Heights, Kingston 8, has been charged with buggery and assault occasioning grievous bodily harm after an incident at his residence on Tuesday, March 26.
According to reports from the Constant Spring Police, an argument ensued between Walcott and the complainant, with whom he had an intimate relationship. Subsequently, the two engaged in sexual activities, during which Walcott allegedly sexually assaulted her. The complainant attempted to flee the house, but she was pursued and struck in the head by Walcott before being pushed into a gully.
Law enforcement was alerted, and the complainant was promptly transported to the hospital, where she received treatment for a fractured skull and paralysis.
Following an investigation, Walcott was arrested and charged after a question and answer session in the presence of his attorney. A court date is currently being finalized for him.
