Kasheem Lewis is now facing two counts of murder carried out in Catherine Hall in November of 2017. He is charged with the murder of 41-year-old nail Technician Cleopatra Fletcher and Dawnett Shettlesworth of Westgreen.

Reports by the Freeport police are that during the second week of November both females were at a shop being operated by Fletcher in Catherine Hall when two men walked up to the building. One of the men reportedly brandished a handgun and opened fire hitting both women in the upper regions of their bodies.

Both victims were rushed to the Cornwall Regional Hospital where they were pronounced dead.

Following the double murder, detectives carried out a series of investigations which led to Lewis being arrested a few days ago and slapped with murder charges on Tuesday.

He appeared in the St James Parish Court on Friday where he was remanded into custody.
