The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) has heightened its security measures around the Beverly Hills, St Andrew residence of Prime Minister Andrew Holness following a credible security threat. Increased police presence was deployed to both the surrounding community and the immediate vicinity of Holness’ home in response to this legitimate threat.
According to a JCF media release, the additional security measures were based on actionable intelligence, and the swift response by officers successfully neutralized the threat. The force has assured the public that it will maintain a strong presence at the location, adhering to standard security protocols.
The JCF dismissed rumors of a raid at Holness’ private residence and urged the public to avoid spreading unverified information. The force remains committed to ensuring the safety of all citizens, particularly when intelligence indicates potential risks.
