Kingston, Jamaica (McN) – The Jamaica National Building Society (JNBS) will unveil its new status as JN Bank on Wednesday, February 1, launching a new commercial banking brand, but retaining its signature yellow and blue signage and its mutual character which makes all clients shareholders.
It will retain its tagline: “We will help you find a way,” but the bank will be launching a new slate of services, said Managing Director Maureen Hayden-Cater.
JN Bank, she said, will now be giving to its members — at preferred rates — auto loans, a lower-cost credit card and unsecured loans at rates which are below market average.
Across the board, fees for services will be lower than market average, while some services will not attract fees at all, the managing director asserted.
“We want to provide access to those who are being under-served or not served,” the banking head said.
“We have taken the time to make sure that we are coming to the market with a different kind of company. Everyone that does business with us is a shareholder. That drives our behaviour,” the banker told the
