(McKoy’s News) – Canadian based singer Jah Cutta is set to score big with one of his most popular song entitled ‘Jah world’ which is getting heavy rotation on all major radio stations across the Island.

Jah Cutta flew into Island as headliner for two major stage shows that he dominated, ‘The Coral Garden Atrocities On Friday, March 30 at the Nyahbingi Centre in Pitfour, Montego Bay, and the Kite Festival at Plantation in St Ann.

Christened Carlton Williams of a Yallahs address in St Thomas, Jah Cutta has been a major act on all the Canadian music festivals, with eight albums to his credit.  The entertainer’s main aim is to win a Grammy in the Reggae category.

Jah Cutta comes from a musical family where his father was a guitarist and his mother a gospel singer. These factors he said motivated him from a young age, to excel in his musical career which is now at the peak of success.

From his first album more than three decades ago entitled ‘If It Wasn’t Jah” he has not look back. Jah Cutta says he is thankful that God has allowed him to remain in the music business for so long, that he is in high demand for stage shows across the Globe.

He has appeared on shows such as “Rebel Salute”, ”Western Consciousness” ,”Jazz and Blues”, “Montreal Reggae festival” and ”Calgary Reggae Festival” . His latest album is entitled “Ladies and Gentlemen” which will be released later this month.

At the moment he is promoting two singles “Jah World”, and “It’s All About the Youths”.

‘I am working hard with the promotion of these two songs from the album and hope that I may nominate for a Grammy Call up,’ said a proud Jah Cutta.

Last week he was in Montego Bay at Mello FM Studio and at Mckoys News office.
