Jamaica News, Montego Bay: Irwin High Health Fair – The Irwin High School in St James held their first Health and Wellness Fair on November 22 on the school ground.
Several organizations such as Jamaica Moves, Cornwall Regional Hospital Pharmacy, West Jamaica Conference Life Style Educator, St James Health Centre, Smart Health Medical and Educom Cooperative Credit Union were present to provide parents, students and teachers with services such as blood pressure checks, sugar checks, foot detox and body scan.
Sponsors included Mega Mart, Cornwall Medical and Dental, Hilton’s Pharmacy and Kirk Distributors. Nurse Janeeve Brown Thompson and Marie Ann Hibbert who is the Dean of Discipline were on hand to assist the Mckoy’s News Team with information about the health fair.
