Jamaica Crime News, St Mary: The police in the parish of St Mary are now carrying out investigation surrounding the discovery of human remains, which were discovered chopped, and placed in a bag along the Devon Pen Main Road on Monday, October 1.
The lawmen say the body of the victim who is presently unidentified, was in a vast state of decomposition.
Reports by the St Mary police are that about 12:00pm, on Monday, residents smell a foul odour coming from a large bag, which was dumped along a section of the Devon Pen main road.
Upon investigating, the bag was found to contain what appeared to be human remains.
The police were summoned and upon arrival, they carried out an investigation and discovered that the bag contained body parts of a human being.
The parts were in a decomposing state and the lawmen theorized that the victim was killed elsewhere, his body chopped up and placed in the bag, and dumped at the location.
