Hotel Assistant Manager Fatally Shot in St Ann

Runaway Bay, St Ann – A police investigation is underway following the tragic fatal shooting of a hotel assistant manager early Wednesday morning in St Ann.

The victim has been identified as 37-year-old Odaine Lewis, an employee of the Royal Decameron Hotel in Runaway Bay.

Reports indicate that Lewis was attacked while driving home to Coxheath, Runaway Bay, around 1:20 a.m.

According to police, Lewis was closing his gate upon arriving at his residence when he was shot by unknown assailants. He was rushed to the St Ann’s Bay Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Authorities have yet to establish a motive for the killing. The St Ann’s Bay Criminal Investigations Branch is actively pursuing leads in the case.
