23-year-old store owner shot and killed in Hanover home invasion

Hanover, Jamaica (McN) – Hopewell 23-year-old store owner: A young female who operates a small business in the community of Hopewell in the parish of Hanover was shot and killed by two armed gunmen who invaded her home in Hopewell Hanover on Thursday night March 23.

She has been identified as Neisha Thompson, 23-year-old store operator who resides at Round Hill Drive in Hopewell.

Reports are that about 9:00 pm on Thursday, Thompson and her small child were at home when two men armed with handguns entered the yard.

The men walked to the upstairs of the house and open fire, hitting Thompson several times to her upper body.

The victim died on the spot and the gunmen made their escape in a waiting motor car.

The Sandy Bay police were alerted to the scene and are now carrying out investigations.
