St. Ann, Jamaica (McKoy’s News)- Heroes Day Tragedy At A St. Ann Home: On Monday, October 16, 2017, Denzil Smith, a farmer was at his home in Clydesdale District, Alexandria, St. Ann when he decided to climb a Jackfruit tree in his yard to pick one of the fruits.

 

At about 9:00 a.m., while attempting to pick the fruit, Smith lost his balance and fell to the ground. Sustaining severe injuries, he was assisted to the Alexandria Community Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
