HANOVER, Jamaica — Police in Hanover have released a composite sketch of a man being sought in connection with a robbery and assault that occurred in Lucea earlier this year.
The suspect is wanted in relation to charges of assault at common law, robbery with aggravation, and breaches of the Firearms Act following an incident on Main Street in Lucea on Monday, May 4.
According to police reports, at approximately 11:00 p.m., the suspect, accompanied by other men, allegedly held a man at gunpoint before robbing him of cash and a cellular phone. The group reportedly fled the scene after the incident.
Investigators are appealing to members of the public who may have information that could assist in identifying or locating the suspect to contact the Lucea Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) at 876-956-2304, Crime Stop at 311, the police emergency number 119, or the nearest police station.
The investigation remains ongoing.
