Gunmen shot and killed a Manchester man while playing dominoes in a broad daylight attack on Friday, November 1.
He has been identified as Cornell Whitfield, 38, a resident of Clarke’s Town.
According to the Manchester Police reports are that at about 11:00a.m. Whitfield was among a group of persons playing dominoes when he was approached by two men who were travelling on foot, armed with guns, opened fire, hitting him several times before making their escape. Others escaped unhurt.
Whitfield was pronounced dead at hospital.
The police are investigating.
