Jamaica Crime News, St James: The St James Police have reported that the three men who were picked up at a house in Bogue community, on Monday, where a missing teenage girl and an Intra-tec submachine gun, were also found, have now been charged.
One Investigator says the men have been charged jointly for, illegal possession of firearm and ammunition. Other charges, in connection to the missing teen, are expected to be laid against them this weekend.
The names of the men are being withheld, as they may have to face a series of identification parades.
The 15-year-old girl who was reported missing from her home in St Catherine, in the month of April, was found at the house with the men, along with an intra-tec submachine gun and three rounds of ammunition on Monday, June 10.
Reports by the Freeport police are that a joint military operation was carried out at a house in New Ramble, Bogue, where the teenage girl and three men were seen.
A search of the house led to the seizure of an intra-tec submachine gun, and the three live 9mm rounds.
