Jamaica Crime News, St.Catherine: The Old Harbor Police in St Catherine have now commenced a probe into the shooting death of a man in the community of Marley Acres on Thursday night of June 6th
The deceased has been identified as, Gregory Dawes, 35-years-old, mechanic also of Marley Acres.
Reports by the police are that about 9:00 pm, on Thursday, Dawes was sitting at his gate when a group of men armed with guns walked up to him and shot him multiple times.
The gunmen escaped in the area on foot while residents in the area summoned the police. Upon arrival, Dawes was discovered lying outside his gate in a pool of blood with multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body.
The victim was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
