Students enrolled in the government’s Programme of Advancement Through Health and Education (PATH) at Greater Portmore High School will no longer receive school-provided lunches following the suspension of the initiative due to funding difficulties.
The change took effect this week, with school administrators advising parents to ensure their children carry meals until further notice.
Vice Principal Delroy Bucknor expressed regret over the development, noting that the decision was not taken lightly. He emphasized that despite the setback, the institution remains committed to supporting students and maintaining a positive learning environment.
