GRANGE HILL STUDENT FOUND DEAD

Westmoreland, Jamaica (McKoy’s News)- GRANGE HILL STUDENT FOUND DEAD: The Sav La Mar police in Westmoreland are now carrying out investigations into the murder of a High School Student which took place previously in the parish. 16-yr-old Shavon Mckenzie, who was a student at the Grange Hill High School in Westmoreland was reported missing on Monday about 8:20 p.m. after he did not return home from school.
On Wednesday morning residents from his community known as Russia were carrying out searches for him and stumbled upon his body in a shallow grave in bushes in the area. The police were called and on arrival, the body was dug up and it was observed that he was killed in execution style with two gunshot wounds to the back of his head.
The police say they believe that his death could have come about from a gang warfare in the area, but they are now working with strong leads and searching for two suspects.
