Investigators attached to the Fraud Squad are seeking the public’s assistance to locate a woman who is wanted for several crimes, stemming from her allegedly posing as a medical doctor in Western Jamaica.

The woman who is being sought for breaches of the Medical Act and the Larceny Act has been identified as Alicia Patrice England but goes by the name McCrane, or Dr. McCrane.

It is reported that in one case England collected payment for allegedly treating a 2-year old child in Western Jamaica, and wrote prescriptions.

Several persons in St James are believed to have been victims of the woman’s scam, and the police are now asking these persons to come forward.

Also, investigators say they believe that England has now moved her operation to the corporate area.

Anyone knowing the whereabouts of Alicia Patrice England is being asked to contact the Fraud Squad at 922-2374 or 948-5953. Investigators say they are also asking pharmacists to be vigilant and not to fill any prescriptions written under the name of this fake doctor.
