KINGSTON, Jamaica – A suspect in the murder of a Jamaica Defence Force (JDF) soldier in Denham Town last month has been apprehended.
The arrest was made on Saturday afternoon during a targeted operation by the Area Four Fugitive Apprehension Team, in collaboration with the Denham Town mobile patrol team.
The suspect, believed to be a former policeman, was taken into custody in the west Kingston community as part of the ongoing investigation into the killing of 20-year-old Private Ejay Domville.
According to reports, around August 23, Domville was on foot patrol with a JDF team near Charles Street and Chestnut Lane when he was fatally shot. The suspect had been wanted in connection with the shooting.
The Denham Town police are continuing their investigations. The identity of the suspect is being withheld pending further inquiries, and authorities are urging anyone with additional information to come forward.
