ST JAMES, Jamaica— The St James police seized firearm cleaning equipment and ten rounds of 7.62 ammunition during an operation on Marl Road in Anchovy on Friday.
According to reports from the Anchovy police, the operation, conducted around 11:00 a.m., targeted members of the One Don Gang and other wanted individuals.
During the search of an unoccupied house suspected to be used by gang members, officers discovered a bag containing the ammunition and firearm cleaning tools.
Despite the seizure, no arrests were made as the premises were vacant at the time of the raid.
The St James police have reiterated their commitment to dismantling criminal networks in the parish and are urging the public to report any suspicious activities.
Investigations into the find are ongoing.
