The Kingston Central Police arrested and charged one man with Illegal Possession of Firearm and Ammunition during an operation on Anderson Road, Kingston 5 on Tuesday, April 28.
He is 22-year-old David Williams, a laborer of Regent Street, Allman Town, Kingston 4.
Reports from the Central Police are that about 12:30 p.m., lawmen were in the area when they saw Williams. He was accosted, searched and one 9mm pistol with a magazine containing eight 9mm rounds of ammunition was taken from his waistband.
His court date is being finalized.
