Female Bartender Shot by Police Impersonators in Capital Heights, St James

St James, Jamaica: Female Bartender Shot – A 25-year-old female bartender is now in critical condition at the hospital following an incident where she was shot and injured by a group of armed men posing as police officers on Wednesday morning.

Reports indicate that around 3:15 am, the woman was at home in Capital Heights with her common-law husband and child when they heard knocking on the door, with men outside claiming to be police.

The men demanded the door be opened, but they refused. Immediately, the gunmen sprayed the house with bullets, hitting the woman multiple times.

After the gunmen fled the scene, an alarm was raised, and the woman was rushed to the hospital, where she received treatment and was admitted in serious condition.
