Tragedy struck Majesty Gardens, Kingston 11, on Tuesday evening as armed assailants shot and killed 32-year-old Andrew Blair, known as ‘Rhino,’ a windscreen wiper from the same area. Another man was also injured in the attack.
Reports indicate that around 5:45 pm, Blair and the other man were standing at a shop when they were suddenly attacked by two gunmen wielding handguns. The assailants opened fire, striking both victims multiple times, before fleeing on foot.
Police responded swiftly to the scene following the distress call. Both victims were rushed to the hospital, where Blair succumbed to his injuries. The other man remains hospitalized in serious condition.
Investigations into the shooting are ongoing as authorities work to apprehend the perpetrators responsible for this tragic incident in Majesty Gardens.
