Jamaica Crime News, St Catherine: The Spanish Town Police in St. Catherine, are now carrying out investigations surrounding the shooting death of a farmer in Spanish Town on Saturday night, December 1.

The deceased has been identified as 44-year-old Anthony Wilson of Hill Run district, also in Spanish Town.

Reports by the police are that about 10:35 p.m. on Saturday, Wilson was at his home when he was ambushed and shot to death by unknown assailants.

The police were summoned and upon arrival, Wilson was seen lying in a pool of blood, with multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body.

The scene was processed and the victim was transported to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
