Farmer Found Chopped to Death at Bernard Lot Estate

Latest Jamaica News (McKoy’s News): The Portmore police have commenced an investigation surround the death of a farmer, whose body was discovered with multiple chop wounds at his farm on Bernard Lot Estate, in St Catherine, on Thursday, October 3.

The deceased has been identified as 55-year-old Everett Joseph, of Smith Lane in Newlands, St Catherine.

Reports are that family members got concern after Joseph did not return from his farm on Wednesday, and made a report to the police.

A search was carried out on his property at Bernard Lot on Thursday, which led to the discovery of his body, which was found in bushes with multiple chop wounds.

The scene was processed and the body later removed to the morgue.
