Trelawny, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – A special team of investigators have been assigned to the Falmouth Police Station in Falmouth Trelawny, to carry out investigations surrounding the circumstances which resulted in four prisoners escaping from the lock-up on Wednesday night, April 4.
Our news team learnt that four prisoners who were behind bars for serious crimes ranging from murder, shooting, wounding and illegal possession of firearm and ammunition, are among the four that escaped.
Reports are that shortly after 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 4, a station guard at the Falmouth lock-up made the discovery that the men had escaped.
The inmates managed to escape after they hacked away the grille which barred the window of their cell.
Five inmates were in the cell at the time and four escaped.
