Jamaica News, April 13, 2018 – Escaped Prisoner Recaptured in Linstead                                                                                           

St Catherine, Jamaica (McKoy’s New) – The Linstead police in the parish of St Catherine say they have now managed to recapture a prisoner who escaped custody at the Yallahs Court House on April 6.

He has been identified as Romario Dawes 19-year-old of St Catherine.

Reports are that on Friday, April 6, Dawes was being escorted back from the Yallahs Court House to the holding area when he reportedly knocked over the police and escaped on foot.

About 12:30 a.m. on Friday, April 13, a joint military team carried out an operation in the area where he was apprehended in a one-bedroom board house.
