Elizabeth Sung dies at 63: Actress appeared on ‘The Young and the Restless,’ ‘The Sopranos,’ ‘NCIS’ and more shows

Actress Elizabeth Sung, who appeared on many of the most popular TV shows in history, passed away Tuesday at 63 years old.

Her cause of death has not been publicly disclosed.

Sung is perhaps best known for her time on “The Young and the Restless” in the 1990s, in which she played restaurant owner Luan, but that was only the beginning of an impressive Hollywood career. Over the past two decades she’s had roles on dozens of hit shows, including “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” “NCIS: Los Angeles” and “The Sopranos.”

In addition to her acting career, Sung was a Juilliard-graduated dancer and won awards for directing 1995 film “Requiem.”
