Dressmaker Murdered in Gordon Town

Latest Jamaica News, St Andrew: The body of 49-year-old Jacqueline Evans, dressmaker of Savage Pen, Gordon Town in St Andrew, was chopped to death at her home by unknown assailants, on Saturday.

Reports by the Gordon Town police are that about 5:30 a.m. on Saturday, residents stumbled upon the body and summoned them.

Upon visiting the scene, Evans was discovered lying in her yard in a pool of blood, with multiple chop wound to her upper body.

The scene was processed, and the body later transported at hospital where she was pronounced dead.
