Jamaica Crime News, St Elizabeth: Detectives attached to the Black River Police Department, have now commenced an investigation into the shooting death of two men in Bogue district, St Elizabeth, on Sunday night, March 24
Those killed have been identified as 18-year-old Malix Cameron, laborer of Bogue district in St Elizabeth and 28-year-old Trevor Powell, landscaper of Goshen district, also in St Elizabeth.
Reports by the Black River Police are that about7:55 p.m. on Sunday, residents living in Bogue district reported hearing gunshots being fired at a section of their community.
The lawmen drove to the location and upon their arrival, Powell and Cameron were both seen lying along the roadway in a pool of blood. It was also observed that both men had multiple gunshot wounds to their upper bodies.
The scene was processed and both were transported to hospital, where they were pronounced dead upon arrival.
