MANCHESTER, Jamaica— A double murder rocked the community of Porus, Manchester, on Tuesday night when gunmen opened fire on patrons at a bar, killing a man and a woman.
Among the deceased are a man and a woman, whose identities have not yet been released.
Police, relatives, and residents gathered at the crime scene, where many appeared distraught. Some residents were observed clutching their heads and stomachs in shock.
Meanwhile, unconfirmed reports suggest that there was a separate fatal police-involved shooting in the nearby Redberry area. At the Mandeville Regional Hospital, officers were seen transporting a body, believed to be connected to this second incident.
