Kingston, Jamaica – The police have charged 31-year-old Dennis McKenly, otherwise known as ‘Den Den’, with murder and multiple related offences in connection with the gruesome killing of a man whose body was found stuffed in a barrel in Kingston 13 last year.
McKenly, a factory worker of Wellington Road, has been charged in the death of 26-year-old Andrew Cunningham, also known as ‘Tall Man’, of Ramsay Road in the same community.
According to reports from the Denham Town Police, on Sunday, March 17, 2024, between 2:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., Cunningham was at home when he was fatally shot by McKenly and other accomplices. The attackers allegedly disposed of his body in a barrel, which was later dumped on Ruben Avenue in Rose Town.
The following day, Monday, March 18, police retrieved Cunningham’s body during an operation in the area.
McKenly was apprehended during an intelligence-led operation on Tuesday, April 22, 2025. He has since been charged with:

Police say investigations are ongoing, and further arrests may be made in relation to the case.
