Decomposed Body of USA Ex-Marine Found in Apartment in St James

The decomposed body of an Ex-American Marine was discovered in his apartment building in Unity Hall, in St James, on Thursday Mach 14.
The deceased has been identified as 63year-old Eric Washington, a veteran marine of New York in the USA.
Reports by the Anchovy police are that about 4:20 p.m., residents living on the same apartment building where Washington resides, got suspicious after they smell a foul odour coming from the directions of his apartment.
The concern residents related that they had not seen the Army veteran for several days now, so they went to his apartment to investigate.
The police were also summoned and upon their arrival, they forced their way inside the dwelling and stumbled upon Wellington’s decomposed body in the room of the house.
The scene was processed and the body later removed to the morgue for a post mortem examination.
The police told our news team that it is far too early for them to make a comment, and they will now have to wait on the post mortem result to determine the cause of death.
