I am a single mom to a little boy. His father lost his life in a hit and run accident years ago when he was only a few weeks old.
He always loved my child but the problem is that his mother insists that my son is not her grandchild and she refuses to have him over her house or around her other grandkids. This has affected my son who is now 6 years old, as he believes that no one loves him and he sometimes says he wishes he didn’t exist.
Now McKoy I can take all the terrible things she has to say about me but when my child is involved it’s a different story.
McKoy do you think I should get a DNA test to prove paternity? Also, do you think I should allow this woman around my child once paternity is proven? Let me know what I need to do!

It is important that your child knows his family. If you want the child to know his family and you have nothing to hide just do the DNA and prove that your son is her grandchild. You are doing this for your child and no one else, so don’t start thinking that by keeping your child away from his grandmother would be for his own benefit.
