Dear McKoy: Pregnant for a Married Man (McKoy’s News): I am a mother 2 two kids and I had been single for almost a year. Three months ago I went to Whitehouse in Westmoreland and met a guy there. We started to talk until we get close, but he is married and I have never been with a married man before. I miss my period and he told me that I am pregnant. I don’t believe in abortion and I don’t know what to do. We don’t talk like we use to because he says I am always getting angry at him for no reason. This is killing me and I don’t know what to do.

Dear Confused: You first need to go to the doctor to confirm this pregnancy. After that, you can decide if you want to have an abortion. It is nothing new to get pregnant for a married man. Relationships are complicated and sometimes messy, however, when innocent kids are involved it really gets tricky. At the end of the day, you have a small life growing inside you. If you are against abortion and decide to bring this life into the world, you have a responsibility to care for him/her. You will also have to find out what role this married man will play in the child’s upbringing.
