Jamaica News: The head of a young farmer was cut from his body following his involvement in a motorcycle accident, which occurred along the Ridge Pen main road in St Elizabeth on Thursday, May 31.

The deceased has been identified as Chad Burton, 24-year-old farmer of Beacon Street also in St Elizabeth.

Reports by the police are that shortly after 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, Burton was riding his motorcycle along a section of the main road when he lost control of the vehicle and collided with a truck.

Burton was thrown from the motorcycle and the impact sent him crashing into a fence, during what time his head was reportedly decapitated from his body.

The St Elizabeth traffic police were summoned and upon arrival, the scene was processed and Burton’s body was pronounced dead at the hospital.
