High Commissioner of India Hosted by Danny Galani and Lachu Ramchandani at Mainland China Restaurant

It was a fantastic affair at the Mainland China Restaurant on Sunday, December 2, 2018, at a luncheon hosted by Danny Galani in Honor of His Excellency Mr. Sevala Naik, High Commission of India.

The function was delighted with dancing, laughter, and authentic Asian and Indian cuisine and hosted representatives of government such as the Director of Public Prosecutions Paula Llewelyn, Attorney General Marlene Malahoo forte, Labour Minister Shahine Robinson, Godfrey Dyer ;Chairman of the Tourism Enhancement Fund, Former Custos of St Ann Radcliff Walters and wife Norma Walters; present Custos of St. Ann, Llyod B. Smith – C.E.O Western Mirror  among other influential business persons and police personnel.

The ambiance was quite heartwarming and the venue quite relaxing in the company of exquisite minds. A grand affair indeed, it was all made possible by Lachu Ramchandani, Managing Director and owner of Blue Diamond Shopping Centre, who when interviewed commended Danny Galani, owner of The Mainland China Restaurant as going way beyond his call of duty and not a talker but a doer, going to extremes in providing the best cuisine for guests attending the function.

Danny Galani in recent times has also hosted a massive pre-birthday party for Minister of Justice, The Honorable Delroy Chuck, to commemorate his 68th birthday. Also present at both functions, were Bobby Thakurani owner and operator of House of Diamonds, his wife Dr. Sonali Thakurani, brother Larry Thakurani and wife Kajal were also present. Jack and Anita Thakurani from Colors Duty-Free, Deepu Lakhwani owner of Sonis Plaza and Harbor shops, Subhash Lalwani with his wife Kajal from Bijoux Duty-Free and Andy Makhija from Diamonds Forever and Andy’s Gift Shop at Landmark Plaza all graced the events in fine glamour.

The Mainland China Restaurant has frequently been abuzz with dignitaries it seems and Owner Danny Galani is certainly “Committed to Excellence” as is expressed in his company’s slogan. He is actively involved in the community and social service and has done several contributions to people in need and regularly visits the St. Ann infirmary providing food and clothing for the poor. He is also owner of Landmark Plaza and Galani Jamaica Limited. He has expressed with absolute confidence that his success is inspired by his wife Heena, his daughter Sneha and son Prem and has also praised his loyal team and staff members for working extremely hard for the success of his businesses. Company Director, Mr. Peter Thakur was individually praised and commended for his extraordinary services in the growth of all Mr Galani”s  companies.

The Mainland China Restaurant was first opened on June 3, 2016 and is Located at Landmark Plaza, 3 Milford Road in Ocho Rios and continues to provide quality service and exceptional cuisine to visitors and nationals alike and is “The Place’’ to be for people who know good food and is recommended by dignitaries and officials at the highest levels.
